Craig Irvin - Opera in the School Celebration

Craig Irvin joins with vocal students from five area High Schools to celebrate opera. This special concert will be held at Waukee High School.

The Heather MacLennan Trio

Heather is a saucy singer who was born and raised in Des Moines and began performing in her very early years. Heather MacLennan, vocals; Jason Danielson, piano; Bryan Schumacker, saxophone.

The Fiddle Chics
Saturday, January 10 


This family band performs a variety of music from Classical to Bluegrass and everything in between.

Bill Melton and Steffen Heins return to ArtsCentral for a performance that's a combination of American Gothic yearning, mid-western practicality, and stubborn romanticism mixed with humor and terminal sensibility.

This Waukee guitarist and native performs a variety of music including Classical, Spanish, Modern, along with some originals.

The Java Jews

Come for a taste of "highly-caffeinated" klezmer music a mix of Yiddish and Hebrew melodies combined with dixieland, avant-garde jazz, and a touch of Spike Jones.

Dracula Evermore

Revel in the Mysteries of the Night!


Dracula Evermore is an adaptation of Bram Stoker's 1897 masterpiece Gothic horror novel Dracula. The mention of Dracula conjures up images of vampires, stakes, garlic, bats... the undead.

Iowa Shakespeare Experience's professional actors will take you as far as you dare into the many themes of this tale.

Single tickets are $25 Adults and $10 Children.

Saturday Afternoon Performances


Bring the entire family to a fun afternoon performance at ArtsCentral, 405 Maple Street! Designed for families and kids of all ages this series will include an hour performance followed by a meet the artist reception.

Jester Puppets brings imagination and laughter together inthis original Halloween show. A silly & creative look at this spooky holiday.

Simple Songs Simple Feelings
Saturday, January 3 at 2:00pm 

This talented family will have you singing along and dancing to traditional and original childrenʼs songs. Just right for all attention spans.

Mr. Magic - Jonathan May
Saturday, February 7 at 2:00pm 

Professional Magician, Jonathan May, provides Family Friendly Entertainment for audiences of all ages and sizes. The show is great for children, while still engaging and entertaining the older members of the audience.

Tickets are $8 for Adults, $5 for Children, or $28 for a Family Package.
